Beulah Floy Butner Rodman was born June 6, 1912 in Springfield, Missouri and died April 7, 1993 in Miami, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Landrum and Beulah Onyx (Carter) Butner, three daughters, Margaret Floy, Diane and Maria Margaret Rodman, and her sister Margaret Butner Thompson. At the time of her death, she was survived by daughters, Willa Rodman Barnes, Celia Rodman Gerfers, Gina Rodman Manders and husband, Mike, her brother, D. L. Butner, Jr. and wife Laura, two nephews and their wives, Johnny and Gail Thompson, Jim and Kay Butner, and one niece and her husband, Mary and Mark Borum. She was also survived by three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Floy was an accomplished musician, playing piano and organ. During her lifetime she composed many musical compositions. She was known for having perfect pitch and could play anything by ear and also had memorized the most difficult piano works. She also enjoyed sketching.
