Mary Cohea Breazeale Taylor Retired General Motors employee.
Services for Mary Cohea Breazeale Taylor will be held Monday at 10 am at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lanney Avis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor, 70, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Nov 29, 2000, at her residence. She was retired from General Motors. She was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include her husband, Walter B. Taylor of Meridian: six daughters, Bettie Sue Jernigan of Georgia, Rita Reed Jones, Angela Reed Hill and Vernice Carter, all of Alabama: a son, Curtis Gene Reed of Arkansas; two brothers, J C Cohea of MS and Cecil Cohea of Georgia, a sister, Delores Rodgers of Mississippi; an aunt, Kate Cohea of Mississippi; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Colin Cohea and Vernice Dolores Minafore Cohea. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Larry Almand, Van McWhorter, Tommy Sides, Tom Connell, Ron Mason, Rama Konner and Abdul Lalaestlawn.
