Mr. CLAUDE NORMAN BEACHT, 82, of 117 West C. Street, Brunswick died Friday, Aug. 28, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 13, 1910 in Brunswick, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Nellie Miles Beacht.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Brunswick, the B&O Veterans Association and was an honorary member of the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Co. He had been employed as a car inspector for the B&O Railroad.

Surviving is his wife, Talmadge A. Grams Beacht; daughter, Earline Keyser, Aiken, SC; two sons, C. Edward Beacht, Jefferson, and R. Wilson Beacht, Colorado Springs, Co.; brother, Elmer C. Beacht, Belle Mead NJ; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.

Well attended funeral services for Mr. CLAUDE N. BEACHT, 82, of Brunswick, who died Friday, August 28, were held at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. Interment was in Park Heights Cemetery. Bearers were Steven D. Viles, Jimmy Cooper, Michael Burch, Reese Grams, Bill Reach and Roger Payton.

Mr. Beacht was the husband of Talmadge Grams Beacht.
