Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thurs. Sept. 26 at First Lutheran Church for Dorthy J. Wulf, 74 who died Sept. 23, 1996 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Dorthy J. Wulf was born Oct. 14, 1921 in Black Hawk County, Iowa to Niels and Marie A. Petersen Oleson. She grew up and attended school in Cedar Falls, Iowa, graduating from high school there. She then attended the business college in Cedar Falls.
She married Lester Wulf Sept. 14, 1946 in Black Hawk County and had lived in the Blair area since 1946.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Riverview Grange, the Papio Merry Makers, Farm Bureau and Mary Circle at First Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bertha Christensen.
She is survived by her husband, Lester; a son and daughter-in-law, Eldon and Rebecca Wulf, Blair; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Vernon Nemitz, Omaha and Julie and Rick Isham, Blair; grandchildren, Christian Wulf, Mark Wulf, Eric Wulf, Jeffrey Nemitz, Jennifer Nemitz, Bradley Isham and Matthew Isham and one sister, Mildred Engel, Cedar Falls.
Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.
