Mrs. E. Edick Called Beyond
Pearl Street Woman Passes Away at Her Home Following Stroke

Mrs. Rose Lambert Edick, wife of Edward Edick, passed away yesterday afternoon at 1:50 at her home, 109 Pearl street. The end came as the result of a stroke of apoplexy, suffered shortly after 1 during the forenoon while on her way to the office of Dr. F. K. Grandy, dentist.

Mrs. Edick bad been afflicted with high blood pressure for a number of years but her condition had not been regarded as serious. Yesterday morning she started out to keep an appointment at the dentist's and was stricken on the street. She managed to make her way unassisted to the office where Dr. Sidney J. Colton was summoned.

The physician ordered her removed to her home in Buchanan's ambulance and the case was turned over to Dr. J. D. Vedder, the family physician.

Mrs. Edick was 68 years of age. She was born in Palatine Bridge, June 17, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lambert. She had resided In Johnstown about 30 years during which time she had made a wide circle of friends all of whom are greatly grieved at her sudden passing.

The only survivors besides her husband, are one brother, Willard Lambert of Sharon Springs, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral arrangements had not been completed last evening
and will be announced later.

The funeral of Mrs. Rose Lambert Edick, wife of Edward Edick, who died Monday afternoon at 1:50 as the result of a stroke of apoplexy suffered while on a visit to the business section that same morning, was held from the family home, 109 Pearl street, yesterday, afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Andrew L. Dillenbeck, D. D., pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church, officiated. There were many floral tributes.

The bearers were Ira Dockstader, Harry Sponenberg, John Joyce, George H. Lesser, Harry Loveys and Norman Lambert. Interment was made in Fern Dale cemetery.
