Donald Clifford Balchuck, 77, Fayetteville, Georgia, died July 27, 2000. He was born March 26, 1923 in Green Lake County, Wisconsin to Steve and Helen Balchuck. Mr. Balchuck was a Veteran of the US Coast Guard, enlisting on August 4, 1942 and released on March 22, 1946. He died from injuries sustained in a car accident April 22, 2000.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalia Mary Heflin Balchuck. Survivors include sons, Donald C. Balchuck Jr., Panama City, Fla., James Balchuck and Robert A. Balchuck, both of Fayetteville, and Michael Balchuck, Clarkesville, GA; daughters, Cecelia Sheriff, Molena and Cheryl Thompson, Griffin; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services held at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel, Fayetteville, with Rev. Wilson Williams officiating. Interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge of arrangements.
