Daughter of the late James and Nora Elizabeth Woodall, she was survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy Whisnant; son, Jason Whisnant (Katherine); daughters, Lisa Ann Stockton, Marcy Grady (Kelly) and Jennifer Powell (Robbie); ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Grow, Rheta Myers and Beatrice English; and an extended family of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Morgan, by a brother, J.I. Woodall. Her funeral was held on January 20, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church of Morganton, NC, with The Rev. Holly Adams officiating. She enjoyed gardening and photography.
