Gordon Hyser

Gordon Hyser, 89, of Honesdale and Bradenton, FL, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Bradenton Hospice House. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Richards Rosenkrans.
Born on May 21, 1923 in Johnson City, NY, he was the son and last surviving member of the late Samuel and Alice Hayes Hyser family. A United States Army veteran, he served during World War II. Gordon was employed by IBM before retiring.
Also surviving are Dorothy's children, Darlene Tenbus of Sayre, PA, Gordon Rosenkrans of York, PA and Rebecca Murray of Honesdale; several nieces and nephews.
Gordon was preceded in death by his 7 siblings, Frank, Henry, Wesley, Lena, Vinola, Eugene and Addie Hyser.
Private services with interment in Bethany Cemetery will be held at the family's convenience.
