|James David "Squire" Hopper|
|Birth: ||Jul. 12, 1855|
|Death: ||Jun. 3, 1950|
He was deaf and a train ran across his legs amputating them and he died of shock and blood loss.
He was also a man with odd thoughts and thought the children he had with brown eyes were his but the blue eyed ones were not so he took the brown eyed ones and left. It is thought that the state later took the children away from him and two of the girls were later adopted out.
John, William, Leland Joseph, Effie Mae, Agnes Lucille, Thelma, Lila Jane. Most all if not all of these children were adopted out
The wife was Ester Jane Parrott and she died in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
