Glenn E. Shreeve age 86, 103 North Spencer Street Redkey passed away Monday in the Bluffton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Portland October 20, 1927 the son of Charles and Mabel (Schmidt) Shreeve. He was married August 12, 1951 to Nada Lea Coble who survives. He was retired after thirty eight years with Sheller Globe Corp. He served with 13th United States Army Aircorp in the Philippine Islands during WW II. He was a member of the Salamonia V.F.W. Post #2840, Life member of Tri State Gas Engine and Tractor Association and Jay County Historical Society.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years Nada Lea, He is the father of three children Jerry, Janet and Roger, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, One brother Virgil Shreeve of Portland and one sister Mary Ellen Bickel of Portland and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Hines presiding. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the services on Friday. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
