RUTLEDGE FUNERAL THURSDAY

Funral(sic) services for James Rutledge will be held Thursday afternoon, August 31, in the Baptist [church of Strong. Mr. Rutledge died](printed upsidedown) early Wednesday morning at the age of 89 years and 10 months.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tunnard Funeral Home of Cheyenne.

OBITUARY

James Rutledge was born in Tennessee October 29, 1939 at the age of 90 years, 19 months and seven days. He came to Indian Territory and married Annie Merchant. She preceded him in death April 8, 1892. To this union 6 girls were born: Minnie Page, Lexington: Ada Labaugh, Stratford; Beulah Musick, wro(sic) preceded him in death January 6, 1901; Willie Dean Strong City; Stella Pasten, Lexington; and Ruby Scott of Moore, Okla. He was later married to Mrilda(sic) Price of Pauls Valley Okla. She also preceded him in death. To this union were born 5 children, three girls and two boys, three of which preceded him in death, Annie Sanford, Frank and Norvel Rutledge. Those who are living are Louisa Stroud, Leedey;;(sic) Ethel Forster of Los Angeles, Calif.,.(sic) Oct. 11, 1934(sic) he was united in marriage to Mrs. M. Porter, with whom he was living at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn, his wife, seven children, 36 grandchildren, 42 great-grand children, 2 great-great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ministers in charge of service were Rev. J. W. Carleton, of Cheyenne, and Rev. Carl Mabra, pastor of the Baptist church at Strong City. Tunnard's Funeral Home oft(sic) Cheyenne was in charge.
