Jesse Stringham, age 87, of Palestine, Texas died January 13, 2013 in Tyler, Texas. Burial in Roselawn Park is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. He was born January 13, 1926 in Port Lavaca, to Roy and Maggie Ruebush Stringham. He worked as a construction superintendent in Houston for 35 years, and was an elder for Aldine Church of Christ and Court Drive Church of Christ for many years. Mr. Stringham was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita Ruth Bobo Stringham; and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Andrews of Palestine; sons, Paul Stringham of Palestine, David Stringham and wife Jamie of Sayre, OK., and Daniel Stringham and wife Marilyn of Albuquerque, NM.; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
