Services for Stella Velma Hodges Barrow, 96, of Clovis will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Steed-Todd Chapel. Dr. Herbert Bergstrom will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Barrow died April 21, 1998, in Clovis. She was born Jan. 28, 1902, in Maud, Okla.
She married Ralph Barrow in Nov. 1919 in Maud. The couple moved to New Mexico in 1929, where the farmed and ranched in the Ranchvale community until he retired in 1966; then they moved to Clovis.
Mrs. Barrow is survived by her children, Burnis Barrow of Ruidoso, Leo L. Barrow of Tucson, Arizona, Janie Kirkpatrick and her husband, Fred, of Austin, Texas, Nina Barrow of Clovis and Ben Barrow and his wife, Vicki, also of Clovis; one sister, Ila Northham of Wichita Falls, Texas; and a half brother, Jack Hodges of Brownfield, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Barrow was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Barrow; one son, John Barrow; and one daughter, Marie Foulkes.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Portales.
