Daniel L. Budlong, 70, of Upper White Street, Waterville RD#2, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1991, in Faxton Children's Hospital, Utica.
He was born in the Town of New Hartford, son of Leslie and Helene VanNort Budlong and spent most of his life in Waterville. He attended Waterville Central School. He married Catherine Toner Oct. 24, 1942, in St. Patrick's Church, Clayville. Mr. Budlong was a line foreman of Oneida Limited for 35 years. He was a member of St. Bernard's Church.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Betty Ann) Zlya of Clinton; a son, Daniel of Chittenango; a special son, Tony Ferrucci of Waterville; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Angier of Forge Hollow (Waterville RD#1) and Mrs. Charles (Gloria) Brooke of Lee Center; a brother, Charles T. Budlong of Waterville RD#1 and four grandchildren, Katie Zyla, Earl, Brandon and Randi Kristine Budlong. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Budlong and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Weaver and Mrs. Shirley Carney.
The funeral was Friday from the Kloster-Northrop Funeral Home and from St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. The Waterville Times, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1991
