William Wytt Hall and Joye were married in North Camp Hood. As a very young girl, "Hallie Boy" and Joye were dear friends of mine. Joye lived with our family and "Hallie Boy" lived with my grandparents. Joye taught Home Economics (I believe) and he taught Ag at the New Home school. I remember when they got married and then moved into my grandmother's home together. I was so very sad when they left New Home, but my parents kept up with them through the years. My brother and I had 14 inch dolls, a "Skippy" doll was "Hallie Boy" and my Effambee Ann Shirley doll was "Joye". I have the dolls to this very day in my collection. I came across a picture of Mr. Hall holding me as a little girl, and that made me look for the memorials for the Halls. (Sylvia Edwards McDonald). The Halls had one daughter, Nancy.
