Retired Police Officer Ivan Stroud expired at City Hospital from complications of chronic lung disease, emphysema, and asthma. He was 67 years of age. He left to mourn his passing his 2Nd wife Carrie G. (nee Goerisch) Stroud of the home at 3664A) Gravois Avenue.
Officer Stroud was a veteran of World War 1 having served in the United States Army. He was assigned to Troop F in the 5Th Cavalry and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
