Alabama - 2nd, Guarded Confederate Fort Morgan near Mobile 1861-62

m [1] 13 Aug 1856 Jackson Co., AL Susan Margaret "Mary" Council When Margaret was 26, she died in a fire while making soap at their home. John's hands were badly burned trying to put out the fire. The house and all their possessions were lost.

They had 2 children - Mary Elizabeth, Sarah J. "Sally"
