Mildred Simmons, a resident of Lithonia, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Traditions Health. She was 95 and a native of New Orleans.
Visiting at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 950 7 St., Port Allen, until religious service, conducted by the Rev. Allen. Interment in Old Folks Home Society Cemetery, Avenue A, Port Allen. Professional service entrusted to A. Wesley Funeral Home, Maringouin.
Survived by two sons, Larry Simmons, Baton Rouge, and Gary Simmons, Lithonia; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
