Husband of Millie (Hinser) Mathews. Father of Henry Ellsworth Mathews. Son of Lewis Mathew and Mary (Hardesty) Mathew Arnold. Parke was the grandson of John Levi Mathew and Rachel (Parke) Mathew and Corp. Henry Hardesty and Sofia (McFadden) Hardesty.


Note: His cemetery transcription shows his last name as Mathews. His son used the name "Mathews" but his parents used the last name "Mathew." Also, the WPA cemetery transcription has his birth year listed as 1830, but he was born about 1850. I believe this was a typo on the WPA records.
