Homesteader Dies At Tyrone Residence
M. F. Blodgett, 72, passed away at his home in Tyrone, Monday. Mr. Blodgett moved to Texas county in 1907 and homesteaded in the Range community, eight miles southeast of Hardesty.
About five years ago he retired from farming and moved to Tyrone, where they have made their home since. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Brethren church at Hardesty, and interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, under direction of the Howlett Funeral Home.
Blodgett is survived by his wife and two grandsons, Preston and Ervin Wilkins both of Amarillo, Texas.
