SALEM - Rev. Robert F. Richardson, 85, of Salem, died at 12:05 a.m. Monday at Hospice House in Poland where he had been for half a day.

He was born on June 1, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., a son of the late Clair and Daisy (Swain) Richardson.

He was an orderly at Salem Community Hospital for 19 years and retired in 1992. He was also an associate member of the Salem Bible Methodist Church and a minister under the Free Methodist Denomination.

He is survived by his wife, the former Alma R. Fowler whom he married on March 24, 1951; a daughter, Janet (Sam) Campbell of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister Florena Fuller of East Liverpool; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
