Halliday) New Castle Courant-Guardian, New Castle, PA, Wed., 3 Mar. 1897, 8:1 Stinson Price died at his home in New Bedford, this county, on Saturday last, the cause of death being the infirmities of old age. Mr. Price, who was a son of James S. Price, long since deceased, was born on the farm of his father, James S. Price, in Trumbull County, Ohio, the date of his birth being July 30, 1821, and moved to New Bedford in 1838, where he learned the tailoring trade with Henry Hoagland, afterwards opening a shop of his own, and this he managed and conducted until old age prevented him. He thus made clothing for two generations. He was married in 1844 to Miss Mary D. Anderson, who survives him. The children are James S. of Cleveland, Frank F. at New Bedford, John D. who resides in Ohio, and Mrs. McNabb and Mrs. Alex Porter. He was a man who was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him and was loved by the entire community. The funeral on Monday afternoon was very largely attended, the services being conducted by Rev. Foster. The interment was made in Hopewell Cemetery. "Note Stinson was survived by the following brothers and sisters': William Price, John D. A. Price, Euphemy (Price) Hager, and Sally (Price) VanNess. His daughter, Mrs. Sally McNabb lived in New Castle, PA and his other daughter, Mrs. Eva Porter lived in West Middlesex, PA. Stinson died February 27, 1897."

Ref: (Eric T. Halliday) New Castle Democrat, New Castle, PA, Thurs., 11 Mar. 1897, 3:4 Stinson Price, an old and respected citizen of New Bedford, died recently, aged 75 years. Mr. Price was born in Hubbard Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, and was one of a family of six brothers and three sisters, of which two brothers and two sisters survive him. He came to New Bedford when a youth of 17 years to learn the tailor trade, which occupation he followed until within a few months of his death, when, owing to a complication of diseases, he became unable to work. He leaves a wife, three sons, and two daughters, to-wit: James S. Price of Cleveland, John Price of Youngstown, Frank F. Price of New Bedford, Mrs. Alexander Porter of West Middlesex, and Mrs. James McNabb of New Castle. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in this their time of sorrow. The funeral services took place on the 1st inst. and were conducted by Rev. Foster, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, of which the deceased was a consistent member. Interment in Hopewell Cemetery.
