George B. Brown, 71, of Adrian DR 1, died at 2:10 a.m. today in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A retired butcher, having been employed by Slagle's Packing House, here, Mr. Brown was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church at Adrian. Born Jan. 17, 1899 at Rayburn Township, he was a son of Samuel E. and Lenora (Wickline) Brown. Surviving are his widow, Molly (Dailey) Brown; two sons, George Jr. of Fennway Park, James T. of Adrian RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace (Mabert) Grove of Columbia, S. C.; two brothers, David L. of Adrian RD 1, Thomas W. of Leechburg; two sisters, Mrs. Sidney Headley of Leechburg RD 3, Mrs. Beula Fox of Vandergrift RD 2; seven grandchildren. BROWN – Friends of George B. Brown of Adrian RD 1, who died April 30, 1970, will be received at the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday where services wilbe at 1:30 p.m. Saturday (May 2, 1970) with the Rev. Lawrence Camberg, pastor of St. Mark's Church, officiating, Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder of Cowansville.
