He was born September 12, 1947 in Springfield to Earl and Margaret Jean (Wrestler) Blakeley Jr. He married Violet Thomas on February 14, 1981 at the Bath Methodist Church.
Mr. Blakeley is survived by his wife, Violet; son Terry (Holly) Blakeley; three grandchildren, Carly Olivia Raubun, Carson Jay Blakeley and Shane Anthony Turner; and five brothers, Larry (Sue) Blakeley, Mike (Kathy) Blakeley, Rick (Janis) Blakeley, Kevin Blakeley and Mark Blakeley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He worked as a mill operator for National Standard in Havana for 32 years.
He served in the US Army during the VietNam War.
Burial will be in Bath Cemetery.
