SANDUSKY - Anthony P. "Tony"
Farrar, 73, 1841 Bauer Ave., San-
dusky, died Sunday afternoon,
Jan. 30, 2000, at Providence
Hospital, Sandusky, after a brief
illness. He was born Aug. 6, 1926,
in Believue. He was a graduate of
Macomber Vocational High School
Toledo and attended Toledo Univer-
sity. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of
World War II. In 1989, he retired from
U.S. Tsubaki, formerly Union Chain,
where he worked 28 years. Prior to
that he was an agent for Prudential
Life Insurance Co., and had worked
at Lyman Boat.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and
Paul Catholic Church, a life member
of the Italian-American Benefical
Club, where he was "Mr. IAB" and
where he held various offices, a
member of the Comunita' Sammari-
nese Di Deroit, Club Amer-Ital in
Bellevue, a life member of Knights
of Club Council 546 (Third Degree),
a life member of VFW Post 2529,
American Legion Post 83, Huron
Eagles Lake Erie Aerie 2875 and
AMVETS Post 17.
He is survived by his wife, Judith
E. (Musicioni) Farrar of Sandusky,
whom he married June 24, 1950; one
son, Mark A. Farrar Sr., of San-
dusky; one daughter, Mrs. Richard
J. (Michele) Pusateri of Sandusky;
one sister Evelyn Nasonti of San-
dusky; five grandchildren; and
niece and newphews.
He was preceded in death by his
parents Charles and Sarah
(Briguglio) Farrar
; four brothers,
James C., Clayton W., Paul A., and
Joseph F. Farrar; three sisters,
Thelma M. Capucini, Mary A,
and Rose M. Anastasi.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m.
Wednesday at David F. Koch Funeral
Home, 520 Columbus Ave., San-
dusky, where the IAB Club will con-
duct services at 7 p.m. A Scripture
service will follow at 9 p.m. Prayers
will be recited at 1 p.m. Thursday at
the funeral home, followed by a Mass
at 1:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave.,
Sandusky. The Rev. Frank Kehres
will officate.
Entombment will be in Calvary
