GRAFTON
DEATH.
Frank Carey was stricken Sunday while at work at the Illinois Powder plant with an paralytic stroke. He was taken to his home in Upper Grafton where a physician and his relatives were summoned, but he was unconscious and passed away at 4 o'clock Monday morning. Mr. Carey was born near Brussels, Calhoun county, Sept. 20, 1861. His parents were natives of Switzerland. He is survived by his wife, five sons and one daughter, one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Patrick's church. Burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
