He was 17 years, 8 months and 25 days old.
Henry and James F. Dunn, brothers, served together in Co. H of the 15th Massachusetts, and both died in service.
He was wounded in the head in Sep 1862 at The Battle of Antietam, Washington County, Maryland.
Henry was wounded in the leg in May 1864 at The Wilderness.

In Dec 1864 Lydia W. Darling, his mother, received a pension to surviving family member based on Henry's service, certificate number 75300.
