He served in the US Air Force for four years. Chuck retired in 1986 from Detroit Diesel Allison division of General Motors with 37 years of service.
Racing and race cars were his greatest passions. He was a member of the Vintage Auto Racing Club and several other vintage car clubs around the country. He spent over 20 years traveling around the country racing his two vintage race cars.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 56 years, Della-V; children, E. Dianne (husband, Alton Southerland) Faulkner, David J. (wife, Mindy) Faulkner and Eric R. Faulkner; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren, Jared, Jake, Daric, Brent and Kaley Ann; great grandson, Steven; brother, Ronald L. (wife, Lucille) Faulkner.
