George V. Punnro was the son of Amos Punneo and Lucetta Jane Ralston Punneo.

He was the grandson of Andrew Jackson Ralston and Nancy Jane Penny Ralston.

He was the great-grandson of Joseph B. Ralston and Eleanor Smith Ralston of Brown County, Ohio.

He was the 2-great-grandson of Christian Smith and Elizabeth McDuffy (or McDuffie) Smith of Brown County, Ohio.

He was the brother of Ralston "Ross" L. Punneo (1878-1962) and a male Punneo born bef. 1910.

His Ralston ancestors were from Scotland who were later forced by King James of England to then settle in Ireland. They were therefore called Scotch-Irish. They came to America, Pennsylvania--to escape violent persecution from both the Irish and the English.
