Daughter of John and Lena (nee Augustin) Riplinger, Anna (Annie) married Fred Hofferbeth July 7, 1884 in Chicago, Illinois. They had at least three children -- Mamie, Gertrude and Frederic. Anna's husband, Fred died in 1897. She remarried to John H. Rische on October 8, 1907 in Chicago. She died in 1938 and is buried in Forest Home Cemetery in a family plot that includes her first and second husbands, her son, Fred, and her brother, John Riplinger.
