Regena was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Hillsboro to Merrick Herrington Jr. and Josie Sessums.
She was introduced to the love of her life by her aunt, Lorine Johnson. She married Gordon McLean Paschall in June 1964. She attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview and graduated with a bachelor of science in business management. She was committed to whatever she did, and she did a little bit of everything. Most of all, she took care of her family and was a friend to many. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, generosity and gentle spirit. She died peacefully and spent her last days surrounded by her loved ones, who lifted her up in prayer.
Although we will miss her terribly, we are thankful that she went to be with her Lord for New Year's. She was a special gift to all of us. She lived well, died well and will always bring back a smile to those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Paschall; brother, Elton Herrington; sister, Deloris Balthrop; father, Merrick Herrington; mother, Josie Sessums; grandson, Casey Neal; and many others whom she loved.
Survivors: Her loving husband, Gordon McLean Paschall; children, David Paschall and his wife, Davona, Melinda Paschall Gintzer, Danny Paschall and his wife, Brenda, Karen Neal Mangus and her husband, Gerald, Regina Letcher, Frances Stapleford and her husband, Billie, and Belinda Scoggin; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Herrington and Charlie Anderson; and many aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends.
