Cheryl Lynn (Swinney) Poe, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away at her residence Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was born October 20, 1946 in Indianapolis to Clifford Russell Sr. and Mildred (Shaffner) Swinney. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School and worked as a Pharmacy Tech for Wal-mart in Fishers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by two sons, Russell (Taha) Poe of Noblesville, Jay (Jamie) Poe of Indianapolis; her mother, Mildred Swinney of Spencer; two brothers, Kevin (Sherry) Swinney of Spencer, Eric Swinney of Marion; two sisters, Krista (David) Dayhuff of Gosport, Karen (Jack) Noel of Spencer; and three grandchildren, Evan, Easen, and Paisley.
She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Clifford Swinney, Jr.
A memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, January 5, 2012 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Jim Cain will officiate. Friends may call from 11am-2pm, Saturday at the funeral home.
