Robert Baker, age 80, of Geneva, OH., departed this life on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Trinity Healthcare in Logan.

Born July 6, 1932, in Geneva, OH., he was the son of the late Harry Eugene and Catherine Missouri Johnston Baker.

Mr. Baker was a retired truck driver and an army veteran of the Korean War. While at his stay in the Trinity Healthcare facility he was beloved by residents and staff alike.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Frank Baker, one sister Elizabeth Estelle Baker Gillette, and a daughter Diana Lynn Baker Yates.

His is survived by his five daughters, Roberta Ruth Baker Yates of Ashland, KY., Donna Rae (John) Skinner of Rush, KY., Virginia Lee (John) Barker of Greenup, KY., Paula Jane (Brian) Pelphrey of Catlettsburg, KY., and Loretta Sue(John) Ramey of Catlettsburg, KY., two brothers, John Lewis Baker and Albert Raymond Baker of Geneva, OH., one sister, Barbara Jean Beck Tucker of Geneva, OH., six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Argillite, KY., with Pastor Keith Crum officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Honaker Funeral Home, Logan, is in charge of arrangements.
