SUNRISE: March 17, 1957
SUNSET: June 5, 2012

MOLLIE ANN PERRY MARABLE departed this earthly life and entered into eternal slumber on the morning of June 5, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She joins her brother, John Lee and oldest sister Mary Novella Perry (Baa) who both preceded her in death.

MOLLIE was born March 17, 1957 in Vance County to the late Walter Lee Perry and Mary Elizabeth Neal Perry. She attended Vance County public schools and earned two associate degrees from Vance Granville Community College in General Office Technology and Criminal Justice. She worked in the Area Mental Health and Vance County school systems as long as her health permitted. Recently, she decided to return to school to further her education and just earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Mid-America Christian University. She also had plans to obtain a Master's Degree.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her three loving and devoted children: daughter Ronica of Fairfax, VA and twins, son Joel and daughter Jemia of the home. Two sisters: Carolyn Perry of Kittrell; Angela P. Williams of Henderson. Three nieces: Patricia R. Perry of Roanoke Rapids, LaRhonda E. Perry of Kittrell and Anissa N. Williams of Henderson. One nephew, Thomas L. Perry, Sr. of SC: two great-nephews: Thomas L. Perry, Jr. of Henderson and DeSean Thorpe of Kittrell. Two uncles: John Neal (Agnes) of Henderson, Gilbert Perry (Alice) of Yonkers, NY. Three aunts, Shirley Davis (Lou) and Judith Neal fo Bridgeport, CT; Saddie Higgs of Kittrell, NC. One great-uncle Samuel Rodwell of Henderson, NC and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Everyone who knew MOLLIE knew that she was a fun, loving and awesome person to be around. She touched so many lives in different ways and left her mark wherever she went. Everyone can truly attest that MOLLIE was an amazing woman; the amount of integrity she possessed and the class with which she carried herself made her the embodiment of what it means to be authentic.

This was also a testament to who she was in Jesus. She received Christ and later formally answered the call to ministry. She preached her initial sermon in 2005 at Progressive Faith Missionary Baptist Church and was later ordained as an Elder. She's also regarded as the Mother of her church, True Vine Tabernacle. She genuinely cared for all whom she encountered and treated everyone as she would have them to treat her - the true meaning of a Godly woman. Everyone will remember MOLLIE for various reasons: her smile, her laugh, her wide assortment of hats.... but most importantly, no matter what you remember about her you will never forget the way that she made you feel. She was truly a phenomenal woman and she will be missed by all who were blessed to have been touched by her in some way.
