Norma Lee Slivicki, 72, of Minto, North Dakota died Friday, November 18, 2005 at Valley Memorial Nursing Home in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Norma Lee Friedhoff was born on January 01, 1933 at Quincy, Illinois the daughter of the late Carl and Vera Friedhoff.
She attended school in Quincy, Illinois.
Norma married Norman August 16, 1958.
After their marriage they traveled extensively in the US Navy until Norman retired in 1969 to Minto. Norman and Norma owned and operated Norman's Cafe for 10 years. Norma also worked at the Grafton Lutheran Sunset Home for several years. Norma loved to cook, garden and fish.
Norma is survived by her husband Norman, of Minto, North Dakota (Parkwood Place, Grand Forks, North Dakota); son: Michael Slivicki of Moorhead, Minnesota; daughters: Susan Slivicki (Bradley Aune) of Minto, North Dakota; Debra (Steve) Montplaisir of Moorhead, Minnesota; Carol (Roger) Osowski and two grandchildren Cole and Rylee Montplaisir; sister Carlene Hayes and brother, Carl "Junior" Friedhoff of Quincy, Illinois.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bill, Dick, Donny and Joe Friedhoff.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto with the burial in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Barnes Family Funeral Service, Kamrowski-Henriksen Chapel on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a 5:00 pm prayer service and one hour prior in the church. (Barnes Family Funeral Service, Kamrowski-Henriksen Chapel, Grafton)
