Louise Vogt To Be Buried On Wednesday

Louise Engle Marie Vogt passed away June 8, 1980, at the Montclair Nursing in Omaha after a lingering illness. She was 87 years old.

Louise was born January 30, 1893, at Bennington to the late William and Anne Markmann. She was baptized in infancy and later confirmed on April 4, 1909, at the Zion Lutheran Church at Bennington, Nebraska.

She was united in marriage to John J. Vogt, Jr. on March 22, 1916, in Omaha. She lived on the same farm near Kennard. Her daughter and son cared for her during her illness except for the last months when she needed skilled nursing care.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Suhr of Oakland, Mrs. Vere Belle Epler of Omaha, and Wanda Lou Vogt of Kennard; and 1 son, Duane Vogt of Kennard; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Other survivors are 1 sister, Leona Olson of Omaha, and 2 brothers, Edward Markmann and Fred Markmann, both of Bennington.

Funeral services will be at the Grace Methodist Church in Kennard at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11. Burial will be at the Blair Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge.
