Sandra Kay Bahe was born to Lester Earl Bahe and Norma (Clark) Bahe on June 15, 1952, at Geneva, Nebraska and passed away December 28, 2012, at her home in Deshler, Nebraska, at the age of 60 years, 6 months, and 13 days. She was one of 4 children in the family.

Sandra grew up in the Ohiowa area. She attended and graduated from Ohiowa High School. After graduation, Sandra chose to further her education and seek employment in the health care profession. Her dedication to her job was apparent throughout her career. She worked for the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva as a certified nursing assistant and Tabitha in Lincoln also as a certified nursing assistant and medication aide for her entire career. She was well known for her near perfect attendance at work. Due to health issues, she returned home to be close to her family.

When she was not working, she could be found doing a variety of things that gave her great joy and comfort. She was always there for her family. She loved baking birthday cakes for her nieces and nephews and Christmas cookies for the whole family. She would attend her great nieces' and nephews' activities to their excitement. She was always there to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement. She was also an avid Husker fan. No matter how well or bad we played, her dedication to Husker nation never wavered. She also worked very hard to maintain the family history. Her many years of research dubbed her the official "family historian." She also loved crossword and word search puzzles and reading romance novels.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Norma Bahe; and her sister, Cindy Bahe.

She is survived by her sister, Debbie Sieber & husband, Dan; her brother Kevin Bahe; niece Michelle Motto and husband, Manny; nephews Brian Sieber, and Troy Sieber & wife Melissa; great nieces KayLynn & Harley Sieber, Mariah, and Taylor & Tinley Sieber; great nephews Carson Sieber, NE and Manny Motto.
