James Atchison [sic.], aged 79 years, died Friday night at the home of his son, Robert Aitchison, on Jackson Prairie, 11 miles southeast of Chehalis.
The deceased had been a resident of Jackson Prairie for the past six years.
He is survived by five sons: John, James, and Richard, who live in Wisconsin; Evans Aitchison of Stockton, California.; and Robert of Jackson Prairie. Also two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Graham of Walla Walla and Miss Emily Aitchison of New Zealand.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Fissel Funeral Home, Rev. S. S. Healey officiating. The burial was at Mountain View.
