Pearl Nadine Oerman, 81 yrs, of Herman, NE died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at Nye Legacy in Fremont, NE.

She was born March 26, 1931 in Arlington, NE to Pete and Matilda(Thompson) Thomsen. She grew up in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School. Pearl married Leslie Oerman on November 12, 1950 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington. She moved to the family farm north of Arlington in 1952. Leslie died Oct. 9, 2008. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Hooper, NE. She belonged to Saddle Clubs at Tekamah, Dodge and Arlington and was active in thorough bred horse racing. She enjoyed horses and spending time in her garden.

Pearl is survived by sons, Lonny Oerman and Leslie & wife, JoNel Oerman, Jr. all of Herman, NE; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Oerman, Lance Oerman, Lawson Oerman and Lindsay & husband, Mark Warner; 3 great grandchildren, Jhett Warner, Chase Frazier and Vance Oerman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Deborah Oerman; grandson, Lane Oerman; brothers, Eddie & Herald Thomsen; and nephew, Terry Thomsen.

Funeral service, 2 PM, Saturday, Dec 29th at Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Hooper, NE. The Rev. Jonathan Ripke will officiate. Visitation is Friday 3 PM to 8 PM with the family receiving friends on Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM all at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation on Sat. at church 1hr prior to service. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery east of Hooper.

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
