Funeral services for Clarence C. Voss, age 76 of Blair who died at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha September 13, 1990 from cancer were held Saturday, September 15 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington with Rev. John Pierson officiating. Burial was in the German Cemetery.

Clarence C. Voss was born on March 5, 1914 at Blair, Nebraska to Otto and Margaret Wiese Voss. He attended the Peaceful Hill School District No. 57, in rural Kennard, Nebraska.

On April 19, 1939 he married Marie Rathjen in Omaha, Nebraska.

He farmed west of Fort Calhoun for 45 years, retiring in 1973. In 1985, they moved to Blair, where he resided until his death. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington, Nebraska.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bernice Enger and Leona Voss.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; four sisters, Ann Knutzen, LaVista, Nebraska; Viola (Mrs. Clarence) Schneekloth, Fremont, Nebraska; Irene (Mrs. Arnold) Schmidt, Bennington, Nebraska and Maxine (Mrs. Louis) Nielsen, Kennard, Nebraska. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
