Died

Faber-At the home of her son in this city, Saturday, June 8th, of general debility, Mrs. Dora Faber, in her 69th year.

Deceased was the mother of the Faber brothers of this city. She was born in Weinheim, Germany, Aug. 24, 1826, and came to the United States in 1847. Two years later at New Orleans, La., she was married to George L. Faber.

Some four years ago she came with her sons to Blair, the husband being dead some years ago, and has since resided here with them. She was the mother of fourteen children, twelve boys and two girls, but four of whom are still living, viz: George, August, William and John.

She had been in feeble health for some time, and the death of her two sons, Charles and Emile, in the recent past, caused her such deep sorrow and grief that it evidently hastened her own demise.

She was for fifty-four years a consistent member of the German Lutheran Church, and was a lady most highly esteemed and respected by all who knew her throughout her long and useful life.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Sheppard at the residence on Sunday afternoon, and the remains were interred in the Blair Cemetery. Blair B55-L3-S3
