Elaine passed away peacefully on Feb. 22, 2009 at the age of 103 years and eight months. Elaine was born June 22, 1905 in Union, Utah to Andrew C Anderson and Sarah Ann Russell Anderson. They moved to Idaho in 1910.

He education was in Cambridge and Downey, Idaho. In 1929 she married Richard Quintus Armstrong in Pocatello, Idaho where they made their home for many years, before moving to Great Falls, Montana and Grand Junction, Colorado then back to Pocatello. In 1996 she went to live in Olympia, Washington with a daughter. In 2000 she moved to Utah living in Saint George and then Taylorsville. She was a great lady and enjoyed cooking, baking (especially fantastic pies)' gardening, making quilts, singing, going to the temple, toe taping music and dancing.

She was proceeded in death by; her parents; 13 siblings; her husband (in 1985), and two grandchildren.

She is survived by; children, LaMar Armstrong, Pocatello, Connie (Jack) Umphrey, Taylorsville, Utah, Eileen (Gilbert) Litchfield, Payson, Utah, Terry (Neita) Armstrong, Oceanside, California; 25 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; and 31 great great grandchildren.
