Sept 18 1929 The Patriot
Died, Sept 14th, at her home in Baldwinsville, from a long illness, Mrs. Ella Abbott Hicks Cory. There remains to mourn her loss a daughter, Lucy Hicks, whose father was Mrs. Cory's first husband, and two sons, Wallace Hicks and Emory Hicks, as well as her second husband, Merritt Cory. The funeral was well attended by old friends and neighbors from Bairds Corners and vicinity, where Mrs. Hicks-Cory lived many years with her first husband, Harry Hicks beside whom she was buried in the Jacksonville cemetery.
NOTE- last name in two obits was different - CORY and COREY
