Geo. Lantry, 70, Is Dead
Blaire Died Of Heart Attack At Farm Home East Of Blair Bridge
George Lantry, 70, former Blairite and well-known here, was found dead outside his home east of the Blair bridge in Harrison County, Ia., Tuesday morning. Victim of heart disease for several years, Mr. Lantry apparently collapsed as he left his car and walked toward his house. The body was found on the front doorstep.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Mortuary here, the Rev. Sidney L. McCaig of the First Methodist Church officiating and interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Mr. Lantry was born in Pennsylvania Dec. 25, 1875.
He is survived by three sons, George Lantry, Jr. of Blair, Charles of Omaha and Gerald of Detroit, Mich. There are two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Fair of Omaha and Stella in Los Angeles. of Death Heart Attack
