COLBERT RITES SLATED FRIDAY

Josephine "Josie" Colbert, 62, of Wright City, died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Paris, Texas.

She was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Ft. Towson and has lived all of her life in the area. She was a housewife and a member of the Nanih Chito United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rueben Colbert, and her parents, Alex Aaron and Agnes Tims.

She is survived by one stepson: Donald Colbert, of Oklahoma City; two brothers: Stephen Aaron, of Hugo, and Joel Aaron, of Wright City; two sisters, JoAnna Taylor, of Wright City, and Esther Bohanan, of Smithville; and one step-grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Nanih Chito United Methodist Church of Wright City. Revs. John Judd, Lester Tims and Bertram Bobb will officiate and burial will be in Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City under direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
