She was the daughter of Hayward Harper and Margaret Haynes.
Viola Harper Franklin was born to the union of Hayward and Margaret Haynes Harper March 2, 1896 in Grimes County Texas. She accepted Christ @ an early age uniting with Hopewell Baptist Church in Bedias, Texas. Upon moving to Ennis Ellis County in 1920, she united with Independent Baptist Church and remained a faithful servant until the Lord called her home.
Viola was married to Mr. Nathan Franklin and to this union no children were born. Mr. Franklin preceded her in death. Viola loved the Lord and was not ashamed to praise Him! Viola Harper Franklin departed this life March 31, 1978 @ Ennis Municipal Hospital. Survivors: three sisters, three brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends.
