Sybilla Margaretha Rebecca Demuth, the daughter of Christopher and Susanna Catharina Maria Klein, was born March 10, 1793 near Nazareth, in Plainfield Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. She is an ancestor to former First Lady, Barbara Pierce Bush. The Demuth ancestry is Moravian, originating from Czechoslovakia.

According to the book, "Compassionate
Revolutionaries, The Moravian Ancestors of George W. Bush", by Fred J. Milligan:

"On April 7, 1812, she married John Flickinger at the home of her parents. John Flickinger's parents , Michael and Mary Flickinger, lived in the northern part of the county, on a farm along Sandy Creek near Sandyville. Margaret went to live with her husband there. Margaret and John Flickinger did not have a long marriage, though. John
died Nov. 4, 1824, at the age of 37, according to Milligan. As a widow with six small children, Margaret didn't remain single for long. On Jan 8, 1826, she married James Tracy, whose family rented a farm near Gnadenhutten from
the Moravians. The newly married couple farmed Margaret's property on Sandy Creek for a few years before moving to Rush Township. James Tracy purchased a farm near Newport in 1833 for $2,000. Margaret died before 1850, and James Tracy died in 1889."

Margaretha died on January 17, 1849 in Newport, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and was laid to rest at Old Sandyville Cemetery.
