Arthur M. Burnett was born 20 Sept 1855, in Milford, Connecticut, to Thomas S. Burnett of England and New Haven and Julia S. Oviatt Burnett of New Haven. He met and married Mary Elizabeth Hope in 1881 in Syracuse, New York. They moved to Chicago in the late 1800's where Arthur was a carriage trimmer and later an auto repairer. Arthur's parents and his brother, Miles Judson Burnett also resided in Chicago.
Arthur and Mary "Minnie" Burnett had one son, Harold Miles Burnett(1883-1971).
Arthur died at age 70. Buried in Oak Woods. Wife, Mary E. Hope Burnett is also buried in Oak Woods.
