McGRATH John R. of Belmont November 15, 2012. Beloved son of the late Virginia (Forand) and Robert E. McGrath. Devoted brother of Patricia McGrath of Cambridge, Maureen McGrath of Oakland CA and the late James P. McGrath. Nephew of Robert and Mary Forand of Burlington and Kay McGrath of Concord. Uncle of Jessica, Devin, Andrew and Vivian McGrath. Also survived by cousins: Forand's, Costello's, Northrop's , McGrath's as well as many friends at Mt. Auburn Hospital. His zest for running, Blues and the Boston Red Sox will be missed. Funeral from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn Street (Rt16), WATERTOWN on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Luke, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery. Graduate of Belmont High School class of 1972. Late 20 year employee of Mt. Auburn Hospital. An avid Harmonica enthusiast John was a member of the Cambridge Harmonica Society and played with the Bobby Watson Band.
