They became a farming family in Benton County and had at least nine children--Margaret, Rachel (#24951296), Jonas, John W., Philip N., Clarinda (#79979168), Silas (24951433), Olive (#24951404), Hannah Rena (#24951422), and Silas.
By 1890 Nancy and Orin had moved to California, where they had a farm. In 1900 they managed a home for 62 boarders. Orin died in 1902, and Nancy lived another five years.
